SE: Silent Night

Christmas has recently past us by, and the New Year is on it's way. Here's a humble picture of the moon that, in my opinion, gives us a feeling that it was taken on a silent night. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!

SP: Soft Sunset

The clouds in this shot look soft and add a glow to the sunset.

SP: Crown of Clouds

A typical autumn sunset. The composition in this picture make the clouds seem like a crown for the setting sun at the lower part of the photo.

SE: Storm

For the past few days Lebanon has been going through a very tough storm - great for pictures. I didn't risk going out but still reached exceptional results from behind my window. In the first picture I used a slow shutter speed to capture lightning. Beirut and the lightning are isolated in the corner by the darkness. The second picture is of the rain drops on my window.

SE: Ramadan Kareem

These photos are definitely overdue. I was lucky enough to have the chance to take a few photos during the few minutes when the moon and star were aligned during Ramadan. The first is over the city of Beirut.

MP: Ehden Nature Reserve

The diverse and wild flowers of the Ehden Nature Reserve were exceptionally good subjects to photograph. I found it difficult to portray such beauty with only a camera and my photographic skills. These are the results of my efforts, I hope they are sufficient enough for you to imagine how appealing these subjects were. Enjoy!

AP: Ehden Nature Reserve

A trip to Ehden had proven to be quite fruitful for me as a photographer. There were many animal related stories that crossed our paths on the way up. First of all, we mistook a turtle as a rock on the road to the reserve. A minute later, it found itself being gently put to the side of the road. Later on, at the reserve, a dog followed us into the woods and happily entitled itself as our tour guide. Here are the photos, needless to say there are some pictures of other wonderful animals found in the magical forests of Ehden. Enjoy.

The Ehden Nature Reserve is one of the most diverse nature reserves in Lebanon. It retains the qualities of an enchanted forest. Everything you could possibly find in the reserve was just plain beautiful. Here are a few landscape photos from inside the reserve.
