Although it may not seem like it, this is a shot of a rose that was outdoors and not cut off. The shallow depth of field I used gave it a crisp feeling and for some reason there seems to be a lot of contrast in this shot even though I have done nothing to alter the contrast.
It looks like such a beautiful painting. Good work, Harry. Post more pics.
