It was difficult to get this shot. The lighting was very bad since the bats came out just after twilight, because of that I couldn't autofocus either way the bats were moving too fast. I had to make my shutter speed at least 1/100s so that I wouldn't get motion blur. I made my aperture wider which wasn't an advantage since I already had trouble predicting the plane on which the bat would be flying for focusing, a smaller aperture would have been better. I also set the ISO to 6400 the highest it could go, this made the shot really grainy. The background isn't very appealing but I still think this photo is somewhat a success. I managed to capture the bat in a great position with it's wings spread wide. Because of the dark conditions I got a silhouette of a bat but it's ok as the shape suggests that it is a bat.
